My name is Sami, and I am a user researcher and designer. I hold a Master of Design (MDes) degree from IIT Institute of Design in Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from Scripps College. I’m interested in how empathy, inclusivity, and accessibility can enhance experiences.
My digital media background inspired my interest in combining my graphic design skills with my analytical skills. My thriving curiosity about how people interact with and experience content makes design a natural fit for me. I solve problems by deep-diving into human patterns through user interviews, usability testing and behavioral science, and incorporating my visual communication skills to create efficient solutions.
In my free time I enjoy photographing nature and food, trying new restaurants, cooking, and wandering museums or galleries.
